What Fuze collects when you apply for early access, why, and how to get rid of it.
Who is responsible
Fuze is the controller of the data described here. Contact: hello@getfuze.app.
What is collected, and why
| Data | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | To email you when access opens, and to send your founding code | Consent, given by submitting the form |
| Your nine answers | To decide what to build first and who to invite | Consent |
| How you arrived (referrer, campaign tags, which button) | To know which channels bring people who actually want this | Legitimate interest |
| Language, timezone, screen size, browser string | To reproduce faults and to size the experience | Legitimate interest |
| A one-way hash of your IP address | Rate limiting and abuse prevention. The address itself is never stored | Legitimate interest |
What is deliberately not collected
- No cookies and no tracking pixels. Nothing is stored on your device except your own in-progress answers, which stay in your browser.
- No advertising or third-party analytics. Usage statistics are recorded by this service only.
- No identity in the analytics. The table that records funnel steps has no column that could hold an email, an IP or a browser string, and the per-visit id it does use is random and never linked to your application.
- No raw IP addresses anywhere in storage.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the database and processes requests on our behalf.
- Resend delivers transactional email on our behalf and receives your address for that purpose.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
How long it is kept
- Your application is kept until you ask us to delete it, or until the early-access programme ends.
- Anonymous usage events are kept for up to 400 days and then removed automatically.
- Rate-limiting records expire within the hour.
Your rights
You can see everything held about you, correct it, take it elsewhere, withdraw consent, or have it deleted.
- See it: the "Manage or delete your data" link in any email from us opens a page listing every field we hold.
- Delete it: the same page, or request deletion by email address. Deletion is confirmed by email so that knowing your address is not enough for someone else to destroy your place.
- Stop the emails: every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Deletion removes your address, your answers, your attribution and the hashed IP. A record that a place in the queue was once taken is kept, with nothing in it that identifies you, so that other people's positions do not silently shift.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it, because it is generated from the running configuration rather than written once.
